Posy is a powerhouse artist and organizer. She identifies as an anti-disciplinarian, or a person who works in the undefined spaces between defined disciplines like dance or theatre (read more here). She is a fierce collaborator and advocate for artist rights and currently works for Milwaukee Public Schools as an art educator and is the Outreach Coordinator for the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Dance Department. She is the art teacher for K4-5th grades at Goodrich Elementary and works with their autism and alternate curriculum classes.

She works alongside her partner, actor Kirk R. Thomsen, on the Board of Directors of 53212 Presents, a non profit with a mission to provide affordable rehearsal space and technical support to artists primarily from the Harambee and Riverwest neighborhoods of the 53212 zip code in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
